Loren over at I Saw Lightening Fall hosts a Christmas Ghost Story telling event every Christmas, it’s something I look forward to all year. Writers get 100 words, no more, no less! There’s little I like more than a creepy Christmas!

Here’s my contribution to the fun, hope it gives you a chill!
“What am I doing here?”
“Spending eternity.”
“But, why here?”
“You made a deal.”
“I don’t understand! I lived a good life, went to church, prayed, gave to the poor, I was a good man!”
“Perhaps. But a deal is a deal.”
“I would never make a deal with the likes of you!”
“Maybe I made a mistake. Hmm, ah, there it is, December 24, 1952. ‘Dear Santa, I will do anything for a GI Joe.’ Did Santa deliver?”
“What does Santa have to do with it?”
‘Santa, Satan, what’s a letter here or there have to do with anything. Welcome home.”
Ha! I LOVE those last lines. Absolutely perfect.
