I do not like war, killing, harming, burning, looting, threatening, bullhorns, tent cities, genocide, murder, missiles or bombing.
I do not let anybody threaten anybody in my presence, and will always speak up when somebody is being unjustly attacked.
I do not fully understand the Middle East, but I do know that Israel has a right to exist as a sovereign nation and has been recognized by world governments since 1948.
And I also know that what happenned on October 7th, 2023 will continue to happen unless Israel ends it.

I’m right there with you on all those points. I feel very much the same. I don’t expect it to get any better anytime soon, though. Never has.
It has always amazed me that as advanced a species as we’re supposed to be, we always default to violence.
I’m not a picketer or protester, but I am a defender. And I do like a quote from W. Churchill – “We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us.” Because it’s obviously still necessary until a future generation figures it out.
